Community Outreach!

The Hope and Grace Foundation partners with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations to help them achieve their missions. This page showcases some of the incredible individuals and groups we have worked with, along with the meaningful impact of our grants!

Radical Love

Our foundation had the incredible opportunity to work with Radical Love throughout the past couple of weeks!

Radical Love works to serve refugee children and adults, as well as senior citizens in our local community. This non-profit organization expressed their need to fill backpacks for children to start their school year off right, and we were happy to partner with them!

240 backpacks were packed to be distributed for children throughout various Northern Illinois communities. We are thrilled to have been a part of this influential project and cannot wait to see the further impact that Radical Love creates in the future!

Big Hearts of Fox Valley

We have had an amazing time working with Big Hearts of Fox Valley this summer!

Big Hearts is a nonprofit organization that strives to aid children and families in the D303 district. They work hand-in-hand with social workers in this area to provide the resources and guidance that are needed for children to succeed in their futures!

Our foundation partnered with Big Hearts to provide packed backpacks for various elementary, middle, and high school students in the D303 district. Students will now feel confident and prepared for the new school year!

Rising Lights Project

Our foundation has recently learned about the incredible non-profit organization, the Rising Lights Project!

Rising Lights aids those who are impacted by disabilities and hopes to provide them with a safe, loving community. They created several programs for their participants, whether it be opening their sensory garden or attending various social events!

We partnered with Rising Lights to provide those with disabilities an amazing experience at Hickory Knolls. The children's day included meeting with Animal Ambassadors, and they were able to pet a snake, lizard, and turtle! The children left the program feeling inspired and thrilled by their adventurous day!

CASA

We recently got the honor of working with Casa to provide language translator ear buds! CASA is a Kane County non-profit organization that serves in the best interests of neglected and abused children ages birth through 21. They train volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAS) and Guardians ad Litem (GALS) for children in court. These volunteers act as figures to help the judges make the best and safest decisions for these children. The headphones we helped provide create an instant bilingual translation and create a quiet environment for kids to communicate with their CASA partners. This is a statement from one of the individuals who utilized the technology:

"Thank you for your assistance in obtaining the earbud translators! I met with the grandmother today who is caring for the baby in my case, and she speaks very limited English. We were both able to use an earbud and have a conversation. As we both get more comfortable with this communication method, it will help us to form a stronger connection vs. working with a human interpreter."
